Green hummus – fresh peas

What you need

  • 350 gr. (net weight) Chickpeas
  • Fresh Mint leafes
  • handful of peas
  • 2 tablespoon of sesame seeds
  • Ground Pepper
  • Lemon juice
  • Extra virgin olive oil


Place the chickpeas (precooked) & peas in boiling water with salt and mint for 8 – 10 min.

Add the chickpeas, peas, 1 tblsp sesame seeds, fresh mint, pepper, lemon juice and extra virgin oil into a blender.

Add some water to achieve a smoother texture.

Meanwhile roast the the remaining sesame seeds in a pan.

Serve Peas Hummus in a bowl ang guarnish with the roasted sesame seeds, mint leaves and drizzle with extravirgin olive oil.

Bring along with homemade crackers.
